Dear Friend of Law Enforcement:
Thank you for your interest in participating as a sponsor of the Washington State Law Enforcement Association, Inc. As a sponsor, you join the WSLEA in promoting strong law enforcement as a means of reducing crime and helping aid our young people in becoming responsible, law-abiding citizens.
The WSLEA and its members know how important it is that youth focus their lives in a positive direction; a direction away from drugs, alcohol and criminal behavior. Drug and alcohol abuse can devastate children’s lives and decimate family relationships. As an added dimension to the war on drugs, the Association is again sponsoring its annual essay contest, “Why I will say NO to Alcohol and Drugs!,” available to all Washington eighth-grade students, to reinforce the message that alcohol abuse and drugs can destroy lives.
The Washington State Law Enforcement Association promotes and endorses the following:
The WSLEA is a nonprofit membership organization headquartered in Olympia, P.O. Box 7369, Olympia, WA 98507; (360) 943-7566, www.wslea.org. To contribute to the success of the sponsor program, the services of Community Safety, LLC and Safety Services, LLC have been retained to conduct the sponsorship campaign. The Association is registered with the Secretary of State, and financial information is available by contacting their office at (800) 332-4483. A substantial share of sponsor proceeds is used to defray the costs of program development, administration and the costs of this appeal. Revenue funds the sponsorship effort and assists WSLEA member services, general operations, and organizational activities.
Your sponsorship is greatly appreciated. Thank you again for your participation.
Cordially,
Pete Sirois Chairman of the Board
